Some of the most powerful work I've done has been on myself. I believe that we are that base of our own life pyramids. We are the foundation and if we are shaky we can't stack anything on top without crumbling at some point.
In this post I wanted to share several amazing tools you can use to evaluate yourself, on your time and from anywhere.
"Start Where You Are is an interactive journal designed to help readers nurture their creativity, mindfulness, and self-motivation. It helps readers navigate the confusion and chaos of daily life with a simple reminder: that by taking the time to know ourselves and what those dreams are, we can appreciate the world around us and achieve our dreams."
"Philipp Keel's timeless journal All About Me is an amazing tool for self-reflection. Self-discovery and self-revelation aren't easy. With simple but provocative questions such as:
Name a friend you should not have kissed.
Describe a moment when you achieved absolute happiness.
Recall a compliment that made you blush.
Write about your most beautiful and your most horrifying memory of your parents."
I also wanted to include a short video from my LeaderSHIFT course on reflecting and preparing yourself weekly. I reference worksheets I use in the course but you can also simply write down the questions I refer to and ask yourself these on a weekly basis.
The full course can be accessed from here.
