Being my own hero

I remember in corporate America feeling like if I had a new boss, a new job title or a different work culture things would be better.

What I was missing, I had to take ownership.

I had to communicate with my boss what I needed to be successful in my role.

I needed to lead from the position I was in and not worry about my title.

I needed to become the culture I wished to see and spread that energy to my team and other departments.

I needed to be my own hero.
