One simple way to refresh your memory about last year’s accomplishments is to take a coworker to lunch. Not just any coworker but one you worked closely with on several projects that you feel the most proud of.
Finding the right person
Either look in the folders you keep with different colleagues' names or sort your email by sender. This will help you decide who to choose.
Inform them of intent
Inform the person about the brainstorming session and welcome them to take notes as well for their own review.
Plan to discuss failures and successes of projects and clients to see what their viewpoint was on all of these.
Outcome
You’ll come away with a better perspective of your role and some great bullets for your review.
